Panasonic VIERA TC-P55ST50 55-Inch 1080p Full HD 3D Plasma TV sucks ass, dun buy it

- Panasonic VIERA TC-P55ST50 TV has unacceptably burning hot in warmer climate (California summer).Cant keep Dennis’s hand on 4 more than 1 seconds.

- the default picture settings dun provide the best picture.

- no noticable buzz

- no RS232

- The sd card reader cant work on 2GB sd card. Wrk w/ a 16GB sd card.

- no way 2 watch blu-ray in true 24 Hz playback

- cant watch dark program in bright-room

- the Panasonic VIERA TC-P55ST50 TV’s remote is slow n cumbersome

- Panasonic VIERA TC-P55ST50 3d Plasma tv has the big issue with crosstalk in 3D.Dennis noticed a fair amount of crosstalk on

lots of games n sum 3D trailer.

- sum noise in dark scene.

- Panasonic VIERA TC-P55ST50 really did a poor job w/ movie. Contrast is really bad coz of the black level, n film often has

lots of high contrast scene w/ both light n dark area in the sum shot.

- Panasonic VIERA TC-P55ST50 TV exhibit sume buzzing — that’s extremely annoying

- The apps r sluggish n inferior in performance 2 Dennis’s Xbox360 n PS3.

- There’s sum glare w/ Panasonic VIERA TC-P55ST50 TV.

- the picture looks a little wash out w/ the light on, jagge n grainy.

- HDMI transmission from the U-verse box is terrible.

- Software / “smart” interface is a bit slow

Now Dennis had got a new tv Sony BRAVIA XBR55HX929 55-Inch 1080p 3D Local-Dimming LED HDTV with Built-In Wi-Fi, Black for a week.

Sony BRAVIA XBR55HX929 55-Inch 1080p 3D Local-Dimming LED HDTV with Built-In Wi-Fi, Black is excellent in every way, no problem at all.The color r VIVID. The picture is clear n real.Great black level, good motion/no blur, good off angle.remote, internet connection all are first class.

Overall Dennis is very satisfied w/ the set.Dennis will buy another one for his dad’s place.
